AI governance reporting for UK FinTechand HealthTech companies.
kn0w issues the Automation Report: how much of a company is automated, what it costs, and whether it works.
For UK FinTech and HealthTech companies of 50 to 500 staff, it reads AI adoption and AI governance from recorded sessions with the CEO and six function heads. It places the company against UK companies in the same sector and size range, and references the UK rules that apply. Read by your board.
Does the FCA have rules for AI?
No AI-specific ones. The FCA says it will not add extra regulation for AI and will rely on its existing frameworks. It names two as relevant to using AI safely: the Consumer Duty, and accountability and governance under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime.
Which UK rules does the report reference?
The report draws its regulatory references from the company's sector and country. For UK companies they are:
- FCA SM&CR
- FCA Consumer Duty
- FCA SYSC 15A
- UK GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 (DUAA)
- Equality Act 2010
- MHRA
The references locate the findings against the rules that apply to the company. They are not a legal compliance determination.
Who is a UK company compared with?
The kn0w Score and each reading are placed as a percentile against UK companies in the same sector, FinTech or HealthTech, with 50 to 500 staff. The count of the peer set is printed beside every percentile. Peer data is anonymised. No placement is read from fewer than five companies.
