What the report puts in front of your board

When your board asks how automated the company is, the report answers in three parts.

A number.

The kn0w Score, 0 to 100, built from six readings: Workflows, Tools, Skills, Oversight, Spend and Outcomes. The score sits in one of four bands: Minimal, Early-stage, Systematic, Embedded. Same answers. Same methodology version. Same reading. It is the number you cite to the board and to investors.

The gap.

The six function heads' sessions produce the function readings. Set against the reading you gave of the company, they show the gap between the picture the company drew of itself and what its functions run.

A placement.

Each reading, and the score, is placed as a percentile against companies in your sector and country with 50 to 500 staff. The peer count, sector and country sit beside every percentile.

How it is made

Seven sessions. No question implies a correct answer.

Commissioning.
You complete an intake form. kn0w confirms the company fits by sector, country and staff band. One agreement, signed once, electronically. Sessions open on payment. The fee is fixed before any session and does not move with the findings.
Pricing
You go first.
A written form about the company: sector, country, staff band. Then a voice session of 10 to 12 minutes. No function head can book until your session is complete. Your answers are stored apart from theirs.
Six function heads.
Technology. Compliance and Risk. Operations. Finance. Growth and Revenue. Customer Success. Each completes a written form on their own function, including the reading they would give it, then a recorded voice session of 45 minutes.

Each action is owned by a function, never a person, and dated 30, 60 or 90 days from issue, with the condition on which it closes.

Every report carries an identifier and a version. A report at a version never changes. A correction issues as a new version. It is delivered as a PDF to your portal.

Methodology

After issue.

Three Quarterly Reviews, at months 3, 6 and 9.

Written forms from you and your six function heads, no voice. They show movement against the issued report and never change it.

The Annual Report at 12 months.

All seven sessions again, new readings. It becomes the current report. The earlier one is kept, unchanged.

An Interim Report on a material change:

an acquisition, a new regulated company line, significant turnover among function heads. It becomes the current report. It does not move the date of the Annual Report.

After issue, your readings join the peer data with the company's identity removed.
